August 14, 2019Mrs. Lin's Kitchen

Today, I’m sharing with you another quick and easy Japanese Temaki recipe: the Vegetable Temaki.

If you’ve read my last post or watched my last video, you will know that Japanese Temaki is a type of Japanese hand roll sushi. It’s very easy to prepare and fun to eat.

Today’s recipe, the Vegetable Temaki, is very refreshing and is a great option for days when you just want a light meal. You can serve this Vegetable Temaki with just soy sauce or with the special temaki sauce. Please check out my Asparagus Temaki recipe to learn how to make the special temaki sauce.

Ingredients

  • Carrot
  • Japanese cucumber
  • Alfalfa Avocado
  • Nori (seaweed) sheets

I used Japanese cucumbers for this recipe and they can be found in any Asian supermarkets. If Japanese cucumbers aren’t available to you, you can replace them with Persian cucumbers.
